TANGLED

Exploring the patterns we have all woven for us to end up here in Macclesfield. People were invited to leave a chronological list of all the locations they have lived around the UK, Europe and the World.

They were also encouraged to add themselves to the static wall graphic. Just choose the colour silk that they found most appealing and, working backwards from Macclesfield, trace the locations all the way back to your place of birth.

This was then added to the website and virtual reality versions.

The final pattern revealed will highlight the tangled web we have all woven and give us an indication of “the colour of Macclesfield”.
